Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Senior Director, Development (Data Center Construction) to lead deployment projects across locations, coordinating with sales, operations, and development teams to meet client requirements on time and on budget.

The role demands extensive experience in data center design, engineering and construction, with strong leadership, communication, and travel flexibility. It sits within the Property Development department and reports to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Architecture.
• 10+ years progressive responsibility in development of Mission Critical Facilities.
• 5+ years of responsibility for data center project construction with large-scale data centers or DC lease providers.
• Willingness to travel as needed for the business.

Responsibilities

• Manage the customer deployment project delivery for each sold deal within each QTS location.
• Coordinate with the Property Development team and specialty consultants to support design needs, pricing, approvals, and deployment scopes.
• Manage delivery to align clients' objectives, processes, vendor strategies, and cross-group collaboration; deliver on time and on budget.
