Job summary

QTS is seeking a Senior Director, Development to lead customer deployment projects for new client builds across QTS locations. The role acts as the primary liaison between Sales, Operations, Property Development, and customers, ensuring design, pricing, approvals, and implementation meet high standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or professional licenses in Construction Management or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Architecture.
• Ten or more years of progressive responsibility in development of Mission Critical Facilities.
• Five or more years of responsibility of data center project construction with large-scale data centers or DC lease providers.
• Be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
• US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage the customer deployment project delivery for each sold deal within each QTS location.
• Coordinate with the QTS Property Development team, and supporting specialty consultants, to support customer’s design needs, pricing, customer approvals, & implementation of specific deployment scopes.
• Manage the delivery of these projects, aligning clients’ objectives, business processes, vendor management strategies, and cross-group collaboration across QTS.
• Drive effective client relationship and cost management to deliver projects on time and on budget.
• Serve as a single contact for Federal sales support on potential secured deals.
