Northwest Bank is seeking an Executive Director of Credit Risk Review to lead the development of the annual risk-based internal credit review plan and direct the Credit Risk Review Team. This role provides guidance to the team on objectives, scope, and testing strategies, coaching staff toward development goals, and serving as a liaison for outsourced reviews.

Reporting to the Chief Credit Officer, the position partners with senior stakeholders to ensure independent assurance of credit risk

Formación

• Requires strong leadership to direct a credit risk review team and coordinate with senior stakeholders.
• Experience applying IIA/IT audit practices and SOX/ COSO controls in financial services.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills for staff development and stakeholder engagement.

• Develop and manage the annual risk-based internal credit review plan.
• Supervise a team of experienced professionals and foster a high-performance culture.
• Oversee review scheduling, resource allocation, and testing strategies for credit risk engagements.
• Present findings and recommendations to management and risk committees; drive action plans.
