Job summary

Northwest is seeking an Executive Director, Portfolio Manager to lead C&I and CRE portfolio teams and ensure accurate, timely reporting across cash flow and SBA verticals. You will supervise underwriting enhancements, uphold credit policy alignment, and present critical portfolio data to the Credit Risk Committee.

In this role you will mentor junior managers, manage staffing to budget, and keep abreast of banking regulations to balance growth with risk control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field is required.
• 8–12 years in portfolio management or commercial credit administration.
• Experience with C/I, CRE, SBA, sponsor, corporate, and equipment finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage C&I and CRE portfolio management teams and ensure timely delivery of reports.
• Oversee underwriting including Annual Reviews and Modifications for policy alignment.
• Present portfolio reports to the Credit Risk Committee and regulators as needed.
• Ensure accuracy of first-line defense reports and timely issue remediation in Archer.
