Job summary

Northwest-Bank is seeking a Credit Administrator to support Relationship Managers and Market Presidents in credit approval and portfolio management. You will assist senior credit leaders in policy development and ensure uniform underwriting standards across lines of business.

You will coach RMs/ARMs, analyze loan requests, review financial data, and monitor market conditions to keep the portfolio strong and compliant.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of credit analysis and underwriting experience.
• Experience with commercial lending and loan structuring.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review credits approved by RMs/Market Presidents for underwriting soundness.
• Approve or decline credits within authority; escalate when needed.
• Coach RMs/ARMs to ensure consistent underwriting and loan coding.
• Assist in portfolio oversight to minimize losses and manage problem assets.
• Monitor market conditions and update underwriting guidelines as needed.
• Ensure timely preparation of regulatory and board reports.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable banking regulations and product offerings.
