Job summary

Plaid is seeking a Senior Partnerships professional to build and manage external data partnerships that power the Credit products. You will identify and prioritize partners, negotiate complex agreements, and work closely with Product and Engineering to translate needs into market-ready data capabilities.

With 10+ years in the field and experience in fintech or data businesses, you will drive the full partnership lifecycle and scale successful collaborations across strategic ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience, including 4+ years in data partnerships, product partnerships, business development, or a related field.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, credit, or data businesses.
• Track record of sourcing, structuring, and negotiating complex strategic and commercial partnerships.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to build a broader partner ecosystem and work with technical teams on data integration.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage external data partnerships that power Plaid’s Credit products.
• Identify and prioritize partners, develop commercial structures, and negotiate complex agreements.
• Work with Product and Engineering to translate product needs into partnership opportunities and bring data capabilities to market.
• Lead the full partnership lifecycle—from market mapping and sourcing through diligence, structuring, negotiation, and execution.
• Grow partnerships from initial integration through scaled usage and expand their impact.
