Job summary

Plaid is hiring a Partnership Manager to own end-to-end strategy and execution with our largest Financial Institution partners. You will build relationships, coordinate with Product, Legal, Policy, GTM, and Engineering teams, and drive open finance initiatives.

You will craft executive-level communications, manage complex programs, and champion digital transformation for FIs, while navigating regulatory priorities and market opportunities.

Qualifications

• 6-10+ years of experience in partnerships, strategy, business operations, or similar role.
• Experience managing external relationships independently and building/executing strategies to make partners/clients successful with new technologies.
• Excellent project management and communication skills with a strong ability to craft compelling executive communications and reports.
• Ability to understand technical and product concepts.
• Self-starter who takes initiative and possess strong troubleshooting skills with deductive and inductive reasoning to guide partners.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with different teams, levels of seniority, and influence structure to meet goals and timelines.
• Ability to work under pressure, deadlines and navigate unexpected roadblocks.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple strategic relationships with our largest financial institution partners.
• Create and own the priorities and strategy for engagement with FIs; coordinate with internal/external teams to execute on strategy and goals.
• Cultivate and deepen relationships with key stakeholders within financial institutions and support their digital transformation.
• Be an expert on Plaid's technology and product offerings; collaborate with internal product and engineering teams on roadmaps and open finance solutions.
• Help define Plaid's strategy for the financial services industry and shape policy and regulatory priorities.
• Serve as escalation point for business and technical incidents related to API integrations with FIs.
• Identify additional opportunities aligned with FI partnership strategy and company goals.
• Work in a highly-collaborative, cross-functional environment.
