Job summary

The Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership (PDP) seeks a Sr. Director of Corporate Partnerships to lead and grow a portfolio of corporate partners representing about $1.5 million in annual sponsorships. You will design partnerships aligning with partners' goals while advancing PDP's mission and culture of downtown engagement.

You'll collaborate with Events and Marketing teams, supervise the Development Coordinator, and cultivate new funding opportunities to expand PDP's impact in Downtown Pittsburgh.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, nonprofit management or related field.
• 5 years of experience in corporate partnerships, sponsorship sales, business development, fundraising, B2B sales, or related field.
• Exceptional relationship building skills and ability to build relationships with marketing and community engagement professionals.
• Eagerness to learn and grow into larger partnership deals.

Responsibilities

• Lead PDP's sponsorship program, stewarding a portfolio of approximately 60 corporate partners and $1.5 million in annual sponsorship commitments.
• Prospect and pitch new partners for PDP signature events and manage partner relationships for Picklesburgh, Oktoberfest, Light Up Night and more.
• Develop sponsorship inventory, marketing assets, and customized packages aligned with PDP events and audiences.
• Build relationships with corporate marketing and community engagement leaders and stakeholders.
• Oversee sponsorship sales materials and lead proposal presentations communicating value of PDP partnerships.
• Coordinate across departments to fulfill sponsorship commitments and ensure professional partner experiences.
• Work toward revenue goals with accurate pipeline tracking and reporting.
• Steward philanthropic and government partners and identify new funding opportunities.
