Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Sr Director of Commercial Excellence to drive high-impact initiatives across AGT’s three-year plan. You will manage 2-3 strategic programs, partnering with cross-functional teams to design, execute, and optimize operating models and processes that deliver measurable business impact.

You’ll lead with strategic rigor, mentor a planning team, and communicate effectively with executives to align priorities and accelerate value realization in a fast-paced AI-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• 12-15 years of experience in strategy, operations, or project leadership roles with increasing responsibility.
• Demonstrated success in leading strategic initiatives with measurable business impact.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, able to navigate complex challenges.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills, capable of crafting and delivering persuasive narratives.
• Thrives in an organization with high operational rigor, is a self-starter, and is agile
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple high-stakes initiatives simultaneously.
• A proactive leader with a strong bias for action and a proven ability to drive results at pace.
• Collaborative team player who excels at building trust and working across departments.
• Champion for change, willing to challenge the status quo and push the team beyond comfort zones with data and cross-functional alignment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end delivery—from initial framing through execution, with tracking and business impact realization.
• Develop and apply strategic frameworks focused on actionable insights and results.
• Lead complex program and project management efforts with strategic oversight and hands-on execution.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure initiatives are aligned and integrated.
• Engage with stakeholders to identify challenges, recommend solutions, and manage expectations.
