Job summary

Flex is a diversified manufacturing partner seeking a Sr. Director, Business Development based in Austin, Texas or remote from within the US.

The role will identify, qualify, and develop strategic opportunities across the cloud and data center ecosystem, leveraging established relationships with hyperscalers, neocloud providers, data center operators, and technology partners to translate infrastructure needs into differentiated solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years selling to hyperscalers, Neocloud and data center operators.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, business or related field.
• 5–10 years in Electronic Manufacturing Services, Datacenter or Cloud B2B Sales.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies for SpinCo’s Cloud & Cooling portfolio, focusing on new customers, segments, and strategic expansion.
• Build trusted relationships with customer executives, engineering leaders, sourcing teams, and operations stakeholders.
• Identify and qualify opportunities across data center infrastructure, including integrated rack solutions, liquid cooling and power systems.
• Shape customer-specific value propositions tying SpinCo’s capabilities to business goals.
• Lead early-stage customer engagement from targeting to award.
• Coordinate with global teams to develop credible, executable, and financially attractive solutions.
