Job summary

Flex is seeking a Senior Director of Corporate Strategy- Strategic Initiatives to drive strategic growth and oversees transformative programs across the enterprise. Located at the Austin TX Headquarters for Axiom Solutions INTL spin-off planning with leadership exposure to the C-Suite.

You will develop market insights, lead cross-functional teams, and mentor managers and analysts to deliver multi-billion-dollar results while guiding long-term roadmaps and integration plans for growth

Qualifications

• 13+ years of professional strategy experience.
• Deep knowledge of Power Generation, Cloud Data Center Technologies, Thermal Power, or related areas.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering/technology or business; MBA preferred.
• Experience in end-to-end strategy development using a hypothesis-driven approach.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and transformation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with market, capability, and roadmap focus.

Help Shape the Future of the Business

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, Axiom Solutions INTL. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Director of Corporate Strategy- Strategic Initiatives to drive strategic growth and lead transformative initiatives across the enterprise. In this role you will report to our VP of Strategy. This position requires a blend of strategic acumen and strong interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate with senior executives, manage high-impact projects, and oversee a high-performing team.
This person will be located at our Austin TX Headquarters for Axiom.

What a typical day looks like:

• Develop and implement strategies and oversee the execution of key initiatives, ensuring successful outcomes.
• Responsible of working across all areas of the business including Sales and Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing Operations, Technology, Corporate Development, Services sustainability and more
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and the C-Suite, preparing and presenting findings and recommendations in support of strategic initiatives and Board discussions.
• Collaborate with and mentor a team of high-performing managers and analysts, driving profitable growth for multi-billion-dollar business units while addressing both short-term and long-term goals.
• Conduct thorough market and competitor analyses to identify and assess growth opportunities and develop organic and acquisition-based strategies to enter new markets, expand into adjacent markets or gain share in existing markets.
• Foster a collaborative team culture while enhancing organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
  

The experience we are looking to add to our team:

• 13+ years of professional experience
• Deep understanding of Power Generation, Cloud Data Center Technologies, Thermal Power, or other applicable
• Bachelor’s degree: engineering/technology, business, and other quantitatively oriented majors preferred, MBA preferred.
• Experience in end-to-end strategy development utilizing a hypothesis-driven approach
• Experience leading enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and transformation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on market and analyses, capability assessment and roadmap development, voice of customer research, market and customer segmentation, partnership and acquisition target identification and analysis.
• Team player with strong communication, relationship-building, leadership capabilities, and ability to collaborate virtually and across regions.
• Proven experience in strategic planning or corporate strategy roles.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Leadership experience managing diverse and geographically dispersed teams.
• Knowledge in mergers and acquisitions and growth strategies.
