Job Overview

The Sr Director of Clinical Account Management is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to a team of account executives, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. This role collaborates across functions to align and execute on Prime's and clients' priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the account executive team; serve as escalation point and issue resolver.
  • Develop processes and metrics to monitor performance, prevent issues, and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams; develop consultative, service-oriented partnerships to maximize satisfaction and growth.
  • Collaborate on go-to-market strategies and maintain communication to monitor performance and drive improvements.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing, and account renewals.
  • Review and structure the account portfolio to support retention and strategic goals.
  • Engage in strategic discussions with clients to identify growth opportunities.
  • Manage budgets, revenue targets, staffing, and team development; support team members and resolve employee issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years in healthcare or pharmacy benefit management client services, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
Additional Skills
  • Industry expertise in PBM, pharmacy trends, Medicaid, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and strategic planning abilities.
  • Experience in team building, client retention, and process improvement.
Physical & Other Requirements
  • Travel up to 30%; flexible with working hours including nights and weekends.
  • Physical activities include sitting, using hands, reaching, standing, lifting up to 25 pounds.
