Job summary

BNY Mellon seeks a Sr. Director, Client Executive to join our Asset Owners team in the Americas. This role is based in New York City or Boston, MA, and leads client account health, profitability, and cross-sell for a portfolio of high-value relationships.

You will supervise a small team of relationship managers, drive new business development, and engage senior executives to strengthen client partnerships. Expect active participation in industry events and strategic client initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
• 15+ years of professional experience, preferably in client management roles with commercial accountability for top line growth.
• Strong leadership and team management experience required.
• Experience in client relationship management, business development, or strategic account leadership roles.
• Experience in recruiting, directing, motivating, and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Client Account Lead responsible for profitability and cross-sell for existing relationships, representing approx. $25–$50m annualized revenue.
• Lead a small team of relationship managers.
• Identify and lead new client acquisitions across the enterprise and externally.
• Be a leader of Asset Servicing and facilitate senior executive engagement with clients.
• Build BNY Mellon's presence through events, industry forums, and conferences.
