BlackSky seeks a Senior Director of Business Development for US Government CCMDs and Service Components, based in Herndon, VA. You will identify opportunities within US Government defense agencies and coordinate solutions with internal teams to win large procurements.

You have 15+ years in space/ISR/GEOINT, 10+ years in CCMDs, and hold an active TS/SCI clearance. The role requires proven leadership in national security sales, proposal development, and strong stakeholder management with

Qualifications

Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
10+ years with CCMD/Service Component intel ops.
15+ years domain experience in space ISR GEOINT.
10+ years leadership including 3+ years in defense sales and proposals.
Active Top-Secret clearance, with SCI eligibility.
Proven success in government proposals.

Responsibilities

Set sales strategy and proposals for new product solutions with government agencies.
Build trust and relationships with customers to map needs to BlackSky capabilities.
Lead capture efforts for advanced programs and coordinating technical solutions for sales objectives.
Negotiate with industry partners to support large procurements and bids.
Coordinate with BlackSky experts to tailor solutions for sales objectives.
Create classified pursuits with BD and PM staff.
Support market growth and expansion.
