Job summary

Gartner is seeking a Senior Director Analyst to lead the Assurance Practice within the BTI group, focusing on Chief Audit Executives and audit leadership. You will produce high-impact insights, lead analyses, mentor colleagues, and present at Gartner events and client briefings to drive strategic recommendations.

You will collaborate across teams, travel up to 25%, and shape research direction while engaging clients with practical, actionable guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience.
• Deep knowledge of the internal audit leader (or Chief Audit Executive) role.
• Strong experience in Audit professional practices tasks, including quality assurance and process improvement, training for audit staff, and liaising with external auditors, regulators, and other assurance providers.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative, thought-provoking, must-have insights content.
• Develop new insights and ideas through thought leadership and actionable approaches for client needs.
• Develop in-depth analysis to identify root causes and reframing strategies.
• Demonstrate executive thought leadership across a team of analysts.
• Bring independent insights to Gartner leaders to evolve the research agenda.
• Research, analyze and predict market trends to provide actionable insights.
• Provide clients with actionable advice via virtual or face-to-face interactions.
• Create and deliver high-value presentation materials for Gartner events and client briefings.
• Support BTI and Sales as the voice of the market to drive engagement.
• Provide high-quality content peer review and collaboration across the Insights community.
• Mentor and coach junior team members; be client-centric and proactive in engagement.
