Gartner, Inc. is seeking a Director Analyst in the Assurance Practice to lead innovative, pragmatic insights for Chief Audit Executives and their teams. You will craft must-have content, publish research, and present at Gartner conferences, client briefings, and events.

You will mentor junior analysts and collaborate across teams to advance risk coverage and audit planning. With internal audit expertise and strong communication, you will engage clients through in-person and virtual interactions,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience or equivalent work experience.
• Internal audit experience.
• Knowledge of internal audit leader roles and industry perspective.
• Exposure to audit management software tools.
• Ability to lead innovative internal risk assessment and audit planning processes (including tech).
• Experience working across risk and control groups to improve coordination and risk coverage.
• Executive presence and credibility with executives.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellence in research and writing.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyze and synthesize data and apply patterns to client challenges.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Subject matter expertise; comfortable presenting at events.
• Strong business/financial acumen.
• Deep knowledge of global landscape in the subject area.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative, thought provoking, and highly leveraged insights content.
• Develop new insights through thought leadership for client needs.
• Analyze root causes of client barriers to drive strategy.
• Demonstrate thought leadership across a team of analysts.
• Propose independent insights to evolve the research agenda.
• Research, analyze and predict market trends for actionable insights.
• Provide actionable advice via virtual or in-person interactions.
• Create and deliver high-value presentations for Gartner events and client briefings.
• Support sales by providing market voice to drive client engagement.
• Provide high-quality content peer review.
• Build credibility as an industry expert for Gartner insights and methodology.
• Participate in innovation and research discussions with peers.
