Job summary

Bain & Company in Boston seeks a Senior Director of Business Operations to drive the Boston Partner Program and optimize commercial operations. You will lead staffing, utilization, and performance analytics while coordinating leadership communications and strategic initiatives across the office.

The role requires 8+ years of experience including management in consulting or professional services, with strong Excel, PowerPoint, and word processing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in progressive management, ideally in consulting or professional services.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational support for the Boston Partner Program, including partner staffing and utilization.
• Coordinate partner communications, leadership meetings, learning programs, and coaching initiatives.
• Manage annual talent processes, including partner reviews, planning, compensation inputs, promotions, and onboarding of new Partners.
• Support commercial operations through business performance reporting, dashboards, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Monitor office performance metrics, including utilization, staffing, recruiting outcomes, and pricing performance.
• Partner with office leadership to develop insights, analytics, and recommendations aligned with business priorities.
• Lead internal communication strategy, executive presentations, and office-wide messaging for Partners and leadership.
