Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director AI Security to establish and mature the enterprise AI Security program, reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, and to secure AI technologies while enabling responsible innovation.

This executive will recruit and lead a high‑performing team, define governance, risk management, and secure adoption across Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and ML platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise AI Security strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Establish AI security standards, policies, and secure development requirements.
• Lead AI security risk management including model governance and regulatory compliance.
• Build and lead the AI Security organization with hiring, budgeting, and planning.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to securely enable AI adoption.
• Oversee AI security architecture reviews and secure design approvals.
• Monitor AI threats and regulatory developments; adjust strategy accordingly.
• Develop enterprise standards for acceptable AI usage.
• Establish AI model governance processes.
• Define AI security review requirements for new initiatives.
• Build enterprise AI risk assessment methodologies.
