Job summary

Snowflake is hiring a Sr. Director, Applications Engineering to lead product and engineering strategies across Finance, OTC, Revenue, People, and Legal domains.

This role, reporting to executive leadership, will deliver AI-native workflows using trusted enterprise tools, while ensuring governance and security. The ideal candidate has 15+ years in enterprise tech or software, with 5+ years guiding large organizations, and a strong background in AI architectures and data platforms.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in enterprise technology, product management, or software engineering
• 5+ years leading multi-disciplinary organizations at director level or above
• Strong technical grounding in AI architectures and cloud data platforms
• Experience building product-led organizations with empowered teams
• Executive collaboration with C-suite stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Define and execute multi-year product and engineering roadmap for Finance, HR, and Legal domains
• Partner with CFO, HR, and Legal leaders to redesign processes
• Deliver AI-native workflows with trusted context and auditability
• Establish a product-led operating model with cross-functional ownership
• Set software architecture and engineering standards for AI products
• Lead cross-functional product pods responsible for adoption and value realization
• Ensure governance, SOX controls, data privacy and security compliance
