Job summary

Snowflake seeks a leader for the Apps & Experiences Platform team in the United States. You will own technical strategy, drive architecture reviews, and set coding standards while mentoring engineers to scale a high- performing platform.

You will partner with Product Management to translate user needs into clear roadmaps and relentlessly improve engineering processes for efficiency and velocity.

Qualifications

• 9+ years designing and building large-scale, production systems.
• 3+ years leading lean, high-throughput, low-latency teams.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Extensive cloud environment experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Hands-on ability to drill into complex design and implementation.
• CS degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy and execution for the Apps & Experiences Platform.
• Provide deep design reviews and architecture discussions for reliability.
• Set engineering standards and mentor engineers across the team.
• Grow a diverse, high-performing team through proactive hiring.
• Define team plans, deliverables, and ensure availability and performance.
• Collaborate with Product Management to translate needs into roadmaps.
