Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Senior Director of Learning & Development to lead enterprise learning strategy, design programs, and scale AI-enabled learning across English- and Spanish-speaking employee populations.

The role oversees instructional design, delivery across in-person, remote, and AI-enabled modalities, and the LMS infrastructure, with a focus on a manufacturing and matrixed organizational context. Based on-site in Columbus, OH or Minneapolis, MN, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 10 years in learning and development with strategy, design, and delivery.
• Experience with instructional design across in-person, remote, online, and AI-enabled modalities.
• Experience using AI to support learning programs.
• Experience owning learning infrastructure including LMS and curriculum.
• Ability to define and track learning metrics and ROI.
• Experience designing enterprise performance management cycles and supporting technologies.
• Experience leading programs in a manufacturing environment and large, matrixed organizations.

Responsibilities

• Set the enterprise learning strategy, roadmap, and annual program plan aligned to business priorities.
• Design, develop, and deliver core enterprise programs including onboarding, leadership development, and safety training.
• Build curricula for problem solving, AI fluency, and communications.
• Manage vendor relationships and external delivery partners.
• Own the learning infrastructure, including LMS, courses, and instructor network.
• Design, implement, and monitor performance-management cycle and related tools.
• Measure program outcomes and ROI; manage the L&D budget.
