Job summary

Forgent Power seeks a Senior Director of Learning & Development to set the enterprise learning strategy and oversee design, delivery, and governance of programs across a large, matrixed organization. The role includes AI-enabled learning, performance management, and global program delivery for English- and Spanish-speaking populations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in L&D leadership within manufacturing, strong instructional design expertise, LMS ownership, and the ability to scale learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years progressively responsible L&D leadership experience.
• Experience delivering instructional design across in‑person, remote, online, and AI‑enabled formats.
• Familiarity with AI applications to scale learning programs.
• Experience owning learning infrastructure including LMS and instructor certification.
• Ability to define and track learning metrics showing program impact.
• Experience designing enterprise performance management cycles and supporting tech.
• Proven ability to operate in a manufacturing environment with operational workforce needs.
• Ability to work with business leaders and HR peers in a matrixed org.

Responsibilities

• Set enterprise learning strategy, roadmap, and annual program plan.
• Design, develop, and deliver core enterprise learning programs.
• Build skill curricula in problem solving, AI fluency, and communications.
• Manage third-party providers for delivery as needed.
• Design and administer performance management cycle and related tools.
• Track participation, completion, and outcomes to improve programs.
• Oversee LMS, curriculum, classrooms, and instructor network.
• Measure program impact and report ROI to leadership.
