Job summary

GIA in Carlsbad, CA seeks a Sr. Director, Enterprise Applications & Data Science (AI) to lead transformation, data, and AI initiatives across Workday, Snowflake, AWS and Power BI.

You will drive real-time analytics, automation and governance of enterprise systems, reporting, and AI integration. The role oversees two teams, sets multi-year roadmaps, and partners with Finance, HR, Laboratory and Operations to deliver value at scale.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Master's degree in Data Science or MBA is highly desired.
15+ years of progressive experience across enterprise applications, data, and analytics.
Experience leading Workday HCM, Financials, Adaptive Planning, and Learning.

Responsibilities

Set enterprise applications, data and AI strategy with a 2–3 year roadmap.
Lead agentic transformation across Workday, Snowflake, AWS and Microsoft 365.
Own Workday as system of record for HR, finance, and ERP.0
Direct production ML and AI, including computer vision for laboratory grading.
