Job summary

AWC seeks a Senior Director of Software Engineering & Data to lead the Enterprise Applications organization, including software engineering, data engineering, and data platform development. You will shape the technical direction, establish scalable processes, and partner with business leaders for strategic tech modernization across the organization.

The role requires balancing legacy system support with building modern, scalable solutions, driving AI-assisted tooling adoption, and guiding ERP

Qualifications

Proven experience leading software engineering organizations and managing delivery
Ability to establish or transform software engineering operating models
Strong understanding of enterprise applications, architecture, and integration
Experience maintaining legacy systems while delivering modern solutions
Ownership of enterprise data platforms and data governance
Experience introducing AI-assisted development tools and driving adoption

Responsibilities

Lead Software Engineering and Enterprise Applications, data engineering, and application delivery.
Establish a scalable engineering operating model with clear processes for intake, prioritization, and delivery.
Guide technical direction with architects and engineering teams for reliable, maintainable systems.
Balance ongoing support of critical apps with development of modern solutions.
Own the software delivery lifecycle from design to production support.
Collaborate with ERP leadership to plan and execute an ERP transformation.
