Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Director of Compute Services to lead the infrastructure powering internal and external platforms. You will shape the future of AI computing infrastructure, including bare metal deployment, Kubernetes, and virtualization, while guiding multi-team engineers and maintaining security and reliability.

You will collaborate with Product Management and Sales to translate requirements into scalable designs and manage operations for enterprise deployments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software or infrastructure engineering experience.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership, including managing managers.
• Proven track record delivering at scale compute products.
• Experience designing and operating distributed systems with high availability.
• Strong enterprise security understanding (auth, authorization, encryption, audit logs).
• Experience collaborating with Product Management and Security/Compliance teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the engineering roadmap for CoreWeave compute products.
• Lead and grow high-performing engineering teams, including managers and senior ICs.
• Own availability, reliability, and performance of security product services in production.
• Partner with Product Management to translate customer requirements into designs and delivery plans.
• Oversee architecture of secure, scalable, auditable systems powering workloads.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions, and Customer Experience to support complex deployments.
• Establish and improve engineering processes and operational best practices.
