Job summary

The West Chester University Foundation seeks a Senior Director of Advancement Services to provide strategic leadership for advancement systems, data, reporting, and gift administration supporting fundraising and engagement goals.

As a member of the leadership team, you will oversee analytics, governance, and operations, partnering with Finance, Development, and campus partners to scale processes for a major fundraising campaign.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 7–10 years of progressive experience in advancement services or related nonprofit administration.
• Experience managing advancement systems including CRMs (Raiser’s Edge preferred).
• Deep understanding of CASE guidelines and IRS rules governing charitable gifts.
• Ability to develop policies, procedures, and training for staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for advancement systems, data, reporting, and gift administration.
• Lead prospect management and data reporting to support fundraising priorities and campaign planning.
• Oversee documentation, reporting frameworks, and system protocols to support staff performance and growth.
• Ensure compliance with standards and provide staff training on policies and best practices.
