Job summary

Apis Services, Inc. seeks a Lead Direct Support Professional to support the Site Supervisor, mentor DSPs, and enhance consumers' independent living skills in participants' homes.

The role blends direct care with leadership, modeling professional interactions and implementing trauma-informed practices. The LDSP will oversee ISP fidelity, help manage program operations, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations while upholding the company values of dignity and empowerment for consumers and

Qualifications

• Two years of experience working with individuals with IDD and/or Mental Health issues.
• Understanding of trauma-informed care and trauma-informed environments.
• Basic computer and internet literacy for data entry and communication.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive as required.
• Subject to employment clearances including FBI clearance if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, trains, observes, and provides feedback to DSPs on ISP implementation.
• Develops and maintains organizational systems based on ISP and budget needs.
• Ensure service delivery complies with state, local and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with management for daily program operations.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Skills

Education
