Ariel Clinical Services in Grand Junction, CO is hiring a Vocational DSP Lead. This full-time role is typically 40 hours weekly, with hours Monday–Friday 8-4 and occasional evenings/weekends. Hiring range: $17.33–$18.89 per hour, depending on education and experience. Open until filled.

The position focuses on providing safe, nurturing environments for individuals to develop strengths and participate in society, with essential leadership duties and program oversight.

Qualifications

• High School graduation or equivalent.
• At least one year working for Ariel, or in the I/DD field.
• Two years’ experience with IDD population preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• 20 hours of certified behavioral experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and instruct department staff and guide program direction.
• Build trust with employees, individuals, and community.
• Communicate concerns affecting individuals and program implementation.
• Assist supervisor with daily scheduling and equitable assignments.
• Create and prepare activities and calendar.
• Mentor and train new staff.
• Represent Ariel in community and meetings as needed.
• Communicate with families and service providers.
• Ensure daily documentation is completed.
