Dungarvin inc is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver for a full-time role in Colorado Springs. The position offers a stable schedule Monday through Friday, 8am–4pm, with 36–40 hours weekly and starting pay at $19.00 per hour, with a full wage scale up to $20.50.

You will provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assist with daily living, meals, mobility, and personal care, while promoting safety, independence, and personal goals.

Qualifications

• Previousexperience supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilitiespreferred

Responsibilities

• Enrich and support the lives of our residents whilemaintaininga safe and healthy environment
• Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care.
• Assistwith activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
• Prepare meals and snacks.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Provide mobility and transferassistance, which mayinclude usingmechanical lift devices.
• Implement positive behavior supports and de-escalate challenging behaviors when needed.
• Other duties as assigned
