NAES Houston Office is seeking a Dimensional Inspector to perform advanced dimensional and visual inspections to ensure manufactured, repaired, refurbished, and received components meet drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. You will work independently, document results, and support nonconformance investigations.

Responsibilities include inspecting at receiving, in-process, final, and first piece stages; interpreting drawings and inspection plans; applying GD&T; ensuring

Formación

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of dimensional inspection, machining, manufacturing, refurbishment, repair, or closely related quality experience.
• Knowledge of GD&T fundamentals and application.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, indicators and height measuring tools.

Responsabilidades

• Perform receiving, in-process, final, first-piece, and dimensional inspections as assigned.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, inspection plans, travelers, and customer requirements.
• Verify dimensional characteristics against tolerances and acceptance criteria.
• Apply GD&T during inspection activities.
• Document inspection results clearly on reports, travelers, or electronic records.
• Identify and segregate nonconforming product when required.
• Initiate or support nonconformance reports (NCRs).
• Verify reworked or repaired components after corrective work.
