Job summary

Georgia System Operations Corporation (GSOC) is seeking a Senior Digital Workplace Platform Engineer to design, develop, administer, support, and continuously improve the organization's digital workplace ecosystem. The role covers Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Platform, enterprise content management, and workflows.

Onsite position, not eligible for visa sponsorship. Level III–V options reflect depth, leadership, and ownership scope.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and administering Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Teams, and related platforms.
• Strong information architecture, metadata, permissions, and records management knowledge.
• Hands-on development using SPFX, Power Apps, Power Automate, and AI-enabled productivity tools.
• Experience modernizing legacy forms/workflows (InfoPath, Nintex) and automation scripting (PowerShell).
• Ability to integrate Microsoft 365 with enterprise applications, SQL, Azure, and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, administer, and support Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Teams, and related platforms.
• Design secure, scalable collaboration sites, intranets, metadata, and information architecture.
• Develop and support SPFX, Power Apps, Power Automate, Teams solutions.
• Modernize legacy forms and workflows (InfoPath, Nintex).
• Create reusable automation with PowerShell and approved tools.
• Build integrations among Microsoft 365, SQL databases, Azure, Graph, APIs, and third parties.
• Evaluate Copilot, Copilot Studio, agents, bots, and AI-enabled productivity features.
• Administer records/content management, OCR, retention, search, and lifecycle controls.
• Troubleshoot application, authentication, integration, and performance issues.
• Support Windows Server and IIS-hosted apps, upgrades, patches, and vendor support.
• Develop designs, SOPs, and support documentation; translate business needs into secure solutions.
• Mentor engineers; guide platform strategy and roadmap priorities.
