Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager, Digital & Mixed-Signal Hardware to lead a growing team responsible for high-performance electronics including software-defined radios and phased-array control systems. You will guide architecture, design reviews, and mentorship across digital, RF, and mechanical disciplines, while ensuring on-time delivery and production readiness.

The role remains deeply technical in leadership, not individual contributor, with direct involvement in setting

Qualifications

Experience leading digital hardware teams and delivering manufacturable designs.
Strong background in high-speed interfaces, signal integrity, and board-level design.
Aerospace/defense production environment experience and ability to scale organisations.

Responsibilities

Maintain technical integrity and engineering excellence for board-level digital and mixed-signal electronics development.
Establish and scale engineer-friendly digital hardware development processes, including high-speed interfaces and SI workflows.
Provide architecture reviews, mentorship, and SME engagement across digital, RF, power, firmware, and mechanical disciplines.
Occasionally contribute directly to board-level digital/mixed-signal designs to close gaps.
Lead or support complex debug efforts on high-speed interfaces and large FPGA/processor implementations.
Drive design-for-manufacture and testability at scale.
