Job summary

Felton Institute is seeking a Digital Literacy Trainer to deliver engaging, participant-centered technology instruction across workshops and one-on-one coaching. The role adapts to varying skill levels, languages, and accessibility needs while fostering an inclusive learning environment.

The position supports older adults and other community members in developing practical technology skills with computers and mobile devices, in onsite community centers and partner locations.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or training older adults in technology or community settings.
• Ability to adapt curriculum for multilingual participants and various learning styles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with non-technical learners.
• Experience designing or adapting curriculum and instructional materials.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and deliver digital literacy curriculum and workshops.
• Design, update, and maintain instructional materials and lesson plans.
• Deliver training to multilingual participants and collaborate with interpreters.
• Support participants in using computers, smartphones, tablets, and online apps.
• Adapt instructional approaches for diverse backgrounds and needs.
• Collaborate with staff and partners to coordinate services.
• Maintain attendance, progress, and program documentation.
• Promote digital inclusion and safe tech usage.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
