Job summary

Conard House, Inc. is seeking an educator to develop curricula and deliver digital literacy classes for SF Connected clients, including older adults and individuals with disabilities.

You will train participants on assistive tech, support job search activities, and supervise volunteers to run engaging virtual and in-person sessions. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in tech-focused education or human services, strong communication skills, and comfort presenting to diverse groups.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least two years in a technology-focused, educational, or human services role.
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas and technical concepts to varied digital literacy levels.
• Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating curricula and training programs.
• Experience supervising volunteers is desirable.
• Must complete a background check after conditional job offer.

Responsibilities

• Develop curriculum for classes using computers and common software.
• Train consumers on assistive technologies to promote independence.
• Design and implement training to improve daily living for consumers.
• Assist consumers with job search, resumes, cover letters, and online applications.
• Host and train volunteers on video conferencing platforms to enable virtual learning.
• Coordinate workshops, guest speakers, and events for digital inclusion.
• Track class attendance and consumer progress; collect data for reports.
• Maintain program records and compliance with confidentiality requirements.
