Job summary

Cadence Design Systems in California is seeking an expert Digital Implementation and Signoff Field Applications Engineer to work with leading edge customers, helping them deploy Cadence’s market-leading technologies in Synthesis, Place-and-Route, and Signoff to meet PPA targets and accelerate design closure.

You will collaborate with Cadence R&D to translate customer requirements into product directions, build strong relationships, and elevate your expertise in nanometer design and digital

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry Physical Design experience.
• Strong knowledge in Digital Design Fundamentals and Static Timing Analysis.
• Experience with IC digital implementation flows and backend EDA tools.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Tcl/Perl/Python.
• Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills.
• BS degree in CS/Engineering or related field; MS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Cadence customers in backend digital design implementation and signoff.
• Guide customers to use Cadence tools to achieve design goals and schedules.
• Collaborate on technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Drive technical evaluations/benchmarks to success.
• Work with R&D to enhance tools and meet customer requirements.
• Drive adoption of Cadence tools and technologies.
• Provide guidance to amend and augment flows using Tcl or other scripting.
• Capture best practices from evaluations to improve future engagements.
