Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners in Syracuse, NY seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer – Digital Hardware to lead the design and development of advanced digital hardware, FPGA solutions, and high-speed interfaces. You will design multi-layer PCBs, develop schematics, and support board layout while collaborating with cross-functional teams across the product lifecycle.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer Engineering, 5+ years in digital hardware, experience with VHDL/Verilog, and U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of digital hardware design experience.
• Experience with analog/digital circuits, FPGAs, memory and high-speed interfaces.
• Hands-on use of oscilloscopes, logic and spectrum analyzers, etc.
• Proficiency with VHDL and/or Verilog.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of advanced digital hardware for next-generation products.
• Design multi-layer PCBs, develop schematics, and support board layout.
• Architect/ develop FPGA solutions using VHDL/Verilog on Xilinx platforms.
• Perform hardware integration, testing, validation, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Develop Python and Bash scripts to automate workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams through full product lifecycle.
