Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Sr Digital Developer to design, develop, and maintain web applications using React, Ionic React, Nest.js and Typescript. This role supports our digital fundraising assets, gathering requirements, testing, and remediating defects throughout delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience with React, Ionic React, Nest.js and Typescript.
Experience with ticketing systems, debugging web apps, and in-browser tools.
Experience with Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS)/Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Strong customer service mindset and excellent communication skills.
Solution-oriented with good problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain web applications using React, Ionic React, Nest.js and Typescript.
Develop software artifacts based on requirements and architecture.
Test software in unit and integration tests; support UAT and defect remediation.
Handle incoming tickets and defects, triage and communicate status to customers.
Support clarification and refinement of business requirements.
Provide estimations based on requirements.
Provide coordination, production, and project support.
