The American Heart Association is seeking a Sr Digital Developer to design, develop and modify web applications and integration software supporting digital fundraising assets across the organization. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant software development experience.
• Experience with React, Ionic React, Nest.js and Typescript.
• Experience with ticketing systems; troubleshooting web application defects, and debugging with in-browser tools.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar project tracking tools.
• Customer service minded with excellent communication skills.
• Solutions oriented with good problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web applications using React, Ionic React, Nest.js, and Typescript.
• Develop software artifacts based on requirements, solution architecture, application architecture, and development standards.
• Test developed software in unit and integrated testing cycles. Support user acceptance testing and defect remediation.
• Handle incoming tickets and defects including preliminary debugging, triaging, escalating and communicating back to customers on status of the tickets.
• Support the clarification and refinement of business requirements.
• Provide estimations based on requirements and functional specs.
• Provide coordination, production, and project support.
