Job summary
The American Heart Association is seeking a Sr Digital Developer to design, develop, and maintain web applications and integration software supporting digital fundraising assets. You will gather requirements, test, and remediate defects through the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities include implementing front-end/back-end components with React, Ionic React, Nest.js and Typescript, and collaborating across teams while handling tickets and refining business requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant software development experience.
- Proficiency with React, Ionic React, Nest.js and Typescript.
- Experience troubleshooting web apps, using in-browser tools and ticketing systems.
- Experience with VSTS/Azure DevOps or similar project tracking tools.
- Customer-focused with strong communication skills and problem-solving ability.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain web applications using React, Ionic React, Nest.js and Typescript.
- Develop software artifacts from requirements and architecture.
- Test software in unit and integration cycles; support UAT and defect remediation.
- Triage and respond to tickets and defects; communicate status to customers.
- Refine and clarify business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Provide estimations based on functional specs and coordinate production support.
