Job summary

FalconX is seeking a seasoned Trade Operations professional in New York to manage settlement requests and monitor daily inventory across banks and custodians. You will work closely with Trading, Product, and Customer Success teams to meet client expectations while upholding regulatory compliant processes.

You will gain exposure to derivatives, spot, and credit markets within a dynamic crypto-focused environment, driving accuracy, efficiency, and risk controls in daily operations.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in a trading firm, hedge fund or Investment Bank.
• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Experience within Derivatives, Spot, and/or Credit.

Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming counterparty settlement requests within a pre-agreed timeframe and act as a point of contact for a portfolio of counterparties.
• Coordinate with Trading Desk, Product, and Customer Success teams to meet expectations for serving clients.
• Ensure trades, transfers and inventory reconciliation across internal subsystems and external systems (banks, custodians, etc.).
• Monitor daily inventory needs for settlement, lending and borrowing and liaise with Treasury Management.
• Provide inputs to compliance and risk teams to design pragmatic controls in a changing regulatory landscape.
• Adhere to established trade operations processes designed for regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with Accounting to ensure timely provision of trade and settlement data.
• Perform reconciliations between internal and external systems to ensure data integrity and resolve breaks.
• Improve reconciliation processes and identify gaps to ensure completeness.
