Job summary

FalconX is a leading market‑making firm seeking a junior trader to join our New York‑based team. The role covers trading operations from Saturday through Wednesday with potential progression to a Mon‑Fri schedule after 18 months. You will trade crypto spot and derivatives, coordinate with global teams, and support risk/data workflows.

We expect 1–4 years in trading or trading support, crypto interest, and strong communication. Python/SQL skills are welcome; teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• 1 - 4 years of trading or trading support experience at a bank, prop trading firm, or market-making firm.
• Basic understanding of options theory and greek risks.
• Coding skills in Python and SQL are desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong interest in crypto and macroeconomic markets.
• Personal experience using various blockchain protocols and understanding of crypto liquidity conditions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented

Responsibilities

• Trade and manage positions across crypto spot and derivatives markets.
• Coordinate with global trading teams for 24/7 market coverage.
• Ensure accurate trade capture and data flow in risk systems.
• Maintain up-to-date position reconciliation with high accuracy.
• Compile and analyze metrics for trading.
• Collaborate with accounting and operations to investigate discrepancies.
