Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA seeks a Senior Digital ASIC Architect to lead the design of digital ICs from concept through implementation, verification and delivery. You will develop architectural concepts, model trade-offs, and collaborate with Analog and Digital Designers to optimize performance and cost.

Key duties include driving IC-based solutions for complex problems, mentoring designers, performing SOC design trades, and producing architecture documentation and best practices for project teams

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering; master’s degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience with a bachelor’s; 3-5 years with a master’s; PhD options considered in ASIC hardware engineering.
• Proficiency with Cadence or equivalent IC design tools (Genus, Innovus, Tempus, Voltus).

Responsibilities

• Drive IC-based solutions for complex customer problems.
• Design and simulate circuits using SystemVerilog, MATLAB/Simulink, and related tools.
• Lead multidisciplinary design teams and communicate with project managers.
