Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Technician III in Marietta, GA to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose complex vehicle systems, and train junior technicians. The role involves hands-on work with heavy-duty trucks and trailers in a non-climate controlled shop.

You will inspect, repair, and service brakes, suspensions, engines, and electrical systems, with access to OEM training, tooling, and safety gear provided. Join a leading distributor with strong benefits and a growth path.

Qualifications

• Training experience with technicians.
• Diagnostic experience on heavy-duty systems.
• Welding experience and metalwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction(s).
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before presentation to customers.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes (air, hydraulic, electric).
• Test drive vehicles and test components using proper equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair suspension systems including Hendrickson walking beam.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, exhaust, steering, A/C, PTOs and exhaust systems.
• Adjust, remove and replace clutches and drivelines.
• Overhaul, troubleshoot and repair diesel and gasoline engines.
• Review service story and determine tasks needed for timely order completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
