Penske Truck Leasing Co. in Charlotte, NC is hiring multiple technician roles across several locations. As a Penske Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet, helping customers stay on the road.

This is a hands-on role suited for those either starting out or with repair experience seeking stability and growth. You’ll receive training through Penske’s technician programs and work with experienced mentors in a safety-focused environment.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid drivers license.
• The ability to solve problems and comfort using tools.

Responsabilidades

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers
• Using Penskes tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics
• Doing preventative maintenance repairsor example replacing or rotating tires and lubrication/replacement of components, some electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance on gas and diesel engines
• Partnering with your manager to learn new skills using Penskes technician training and hands-on coaching
• Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
