Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing in Statesville, NC is seeking a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You’ll work with experienced supervisors, log and assist with diagnostics, and receive hands-on coaching and industry-certified training to grow your career.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to learn and follow safety rules

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers
• Using Penske's tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics
• Performing preventative maintenance such as replacing or rotating tires and lubrication on gas and diesel engines
• Partnering with your manager to learn new skills through Penske's technician training and hands-on coaching
• Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
