Job summary

Penske is seeking an experienced Technician at our Waterville location to maintain and repair trucks and trailers, ensuring safety and road readiness. You will perform preventive maintenance and major repairs, using Penske’s diagnostic tools and training to upskill and advance within the company.

As a Technician I, you will lead with experience, mentor peers, and work independently on a variety of OEM equipment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of practical experience in truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Specialized training and experience in diagnosing/troubleshooting major components; ASE Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, differentials, and related components.
• Log repairs and use Penske tools/diagnostics to complete tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to safety policies.
• Learn and apply Penske technician training programs.
