Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. is seeking a skilled diesel/heavy-duty truck technician in Jacksonville, FL to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, and body systems across gasoline, diesel and CNG fleets.

You may perform welding and fabrication as needed and will use factory service manuals and vehicle diagnostics to complete repairs. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision and life insurance, a 401k plan, disability coverage,

Qualifications

Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic and body systems.
Work with gasoline, diesel and CNG systems; welding and fabrication may be required.
Follows safety policies and OSHA standards; maintain clean work area.

Responsibilities

Diagnoses mechanical problems and performs repairs and maintenance on all equipment to maximize safe and productive operations.
Communicates with managers/drivers as to issues with vehicles and discusses preventive techniques that minimize future repairs.
Completes all required paperwork in a timely and concise manner.
Follows all safety policies and procedures.
Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
Conducts repairs utilizing Factory Service Manuals.
Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
Maintain high standard of Ethics and Dependability.
