Waste Pro USA Inc. is seeking an experienced diesel/heavy-duty truck technician to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension and electrical systems on a fleet of heavy and light-duty trucks, including CNG/Hydrogen/fuel systems.

The role involves welding and fabrication as needed and requires adherence to safety standards. The technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, communicate with drivers, and complete required paperwork with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of suspension, brake, electrical and hydraulic systems inspection and repair.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and interpreting service manuals.
• Ability to estimate time and materials for repairs.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs on trucks to maximize safety and productivity.
• Communicate vehicle issues to managers/drivers and discuss preventive techniques.
• Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a clean work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Use vehicle computer systems to interpret failure modes and initiate repairs.
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
