Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet. You’ll work with Penske’s tools, log diagnostics, and learn our technician training programs while contributing to safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to follow instructions, use tools, and work with DOT/OSHA policies.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs—like replacing or rotating tires—and lubrication and replacement of components.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching with your manager.
• Work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
