Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1-2 years automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and outdoors.
• Understand and comply with Penske policies including DOT/OSHA safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on gas and diesel engines.
• Learn new skills through Penske training and hands-on coaching with a supervisor.
• Take on additional projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
